Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1+ years in construction, roofing, electrical, or solar installation is preferred.
Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ lbs.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Install rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems according to engineering plans.
Assemble and secure racking systems, solar panels, and mounting hardware.
Assist with inverter installation, wiring, and system connections under supervision.
Prepare job sites, including measuring, marking, and staging materials.
Interpret basic system designs, layouts, and blueprints.
Ensure proper alignment and spacing of solar arrays.
Assist licensed electricians with electrical connections and conduit runs.
Support installation of inverters, disconnects, and monitoring systems.
Ensure installations meet NEC and local requirements.
Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures.
Use fall protection equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct job site cleanup and proper disposal of materials.
Inspect installations for quality and report issues.
Assist with system testing and commissioning.
