Job summary

Comcast is seeking an installation and electrical helper to support the Solar Panel Installation team. This role involves working at heights, handling tools, and ensuring installations meet safety standards and customer specifications.

You will assist electricians with conduit, wiring, mounting panels and racking, and site readiness under moderate supervision. Flexibility for nights, weekends and overtime is required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and installers during solar installations.
• Bend conduit, strip and terminate wire, and maintain site organization.
• Assist in mounting panels and racking, and wiring.
• Use hand and power tools for racking installation.
• Service solar systems as needed and lay out conduit.
• Install disconnects and junction boxes; work at heights on roofs.
• Adhere to safety codes and quality standards; attend nights/weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
