Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking team members for the Faribault South location on a weekend shift (6:00am-6:30pm, Fri-Sun) to assemble rooftop HVAC units. You will build units by combining complex parts and refer to assembly drawings to guide your work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related manufacturing experience acceptable.
• Ability to lift and stand for long shifts; must wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Reading and writing in English; clear communication required.
• Willingness to perform varied assembly tasks and follow 5S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble rooftop HVAC units by combining complex parts.
• Perform varied assembly tasks, moving within the area to meet production needs.
• Use a computer to access assembly drawings and specs.
• Conduct quality checks before units leave the station.
• Participate in 5S, safety, process, and quality improvement teams.
• Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to meet production requirements.
• Assist in training new team members and provide input on performance.
