Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids, part of Lodgco Hospitality, is seeking a skilled bartender for the rooftop lounge Knoop in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. You’ll deliver craft cocktails, engage guests, and uphold service standards to create memorable experiences.

The role requires a bar-friendly personality, a minimum of 6 months bartending experience, and a state-approved alcohol certification. High school diploma or equivalent is required; training and career development are offered by Lodgco.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 6 months experience working in a bartending role preferred.
• State-approved alcohol certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, presents menus, and answers questions regarding drinks and meals.
• Takes orders, records sales, and prepares beverages with proper garnish.
• Balances cash, processes payments, and completes end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintains guest engagement and provides proactive service in a fast-paced setting.
• Assists with room service duties as necessary.
• Reports tips and adheres to cash handling procedures.
