Job summary

Kids for the Future in Sheridan, AR is seeking a Roof Technician to repair and maintain a variety of roofing systems for commercial and residential properties. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to assess damage, perform skilled repairs, and work at heights.

You will operate hand and power tools, follow OSHA safety protocols, and collaborate with a crew to complete tear-offs, installations and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months roofing or construction experience.
• Must pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Labor with the crew to complete tear-offs, repairs, installations, and related tasks.
• Assist in setting up and tearing down safety equipment.
• Safely operate roofing tools and equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites following OSHA.
• Abide by safety requirements and PPE policy.
• Report any unsafe conditions.
• Participate in weekly trainings and product/system trainings.
• Attend company training events.
• Perform work to company standards.
• Collaborate with crew for team success.
• Mentor less-experienced crew members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
