Job summary

Simon Roofing is seeking a Roofing Service Technician in Raleigh, NC. You will receive extensive paid training to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and evaluations on low-slope roofing systems while engaging with clients daily.

Expect over 40 hours weekly with overtime, multiple bonus opportunities, and great benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k). A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant roofing or construction experience, or military experience.
• Driver's License is REQUIRED.
• 21 years of age or older (REQUIRED to drive company vehicle).
• High school diploma, or equivalent (REQUIRED).
• Ability to travel out of town, for up to 4 weeks at a time, when local work is not available (REQUIRED).
• Must be able to work overtime in emergency situations.
• Weekend work as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively through written correspondence and verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect problem roofs, perform roof repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Always follow safety on the job and while driving.
• Speaks clearly and persuasively; listens and gets clarification; responds to questions.
• Drives a company vehicle to clients’ buildings daily.
• Completes tasks on time; follows instructions; responds to management direction.
