A roofing solutions company is seeking an Assistant Service Repair Technician in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you'll support the Service department by investigating and repairing low-slope commercial roofs alongside a Lead Service Technician. Candidates should have roofing knowledge, ability to work outdoors in various conditions, and must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. The position may involve weekend and overnight travel, and requires passing a pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in construction and/or working with hand tools.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow).

Responsibilities

• Investigate and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs.
• Develop skills to determine leak location and common issues.
• Assist in snow and hurricane repair events.

Skills

Roofing knowledge and experience

Ability to obtain OSHA certification
