Job summary

Moss Roofing in Indianapolis is seeking a Roofing Sales Professional to generate and manage a book of business, guiding homeowners through inspections, estimates, and insurance claims. This role blends sales, project management, and customer education, with uncapped earning potential and hands-on field work.

You’ll build lasting client relationships, close opportunities, and drive projects from inspection to contract signing, supported by paid training and base+commission compensation.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence in negotiating and closing sales.
• Self-driven, results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven sales experience is preferred but not required — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Generate and close new sales opportunities through self-generated leads, referrals, door-to-door canvassing, and networking
• Conduct residential roof and exterior inspections
• Educate homeowners on the condition of their property and recommended solutions
• Prepare quotes for roof, siding, and exterior replacement projects
• Guide customers through the insurance claims process when applicable
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and referral partners
• Manage projects from initial inspection through contract signing
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
