Job Description

Elite Roof and Solar is looking to add to our Roof and Gutter crews. If you are an independent, experienced roofing and / or gutter contractor who is tired of running from job to job without certainty of income or payment, then this is the opportunity for you. We are looking for individuals and teams of certified roofing contractors with at least 5 years of shingle and/or flat roof installations and repairs and gutter installations. Individuals will work with Elite Roof and Solar personnel and other subcontractors as required to accomplish a job. These individuals would be primarily located in one of our home markets and execute jobs in the that market. However, they may also be required to travel throughout all of Western North Carolina – from Charlotte to Boone to Asheville and Winston-Salem – and be responsible for executing Elite Roof and Solar’s Repair jobs as volume and customer needs dictate.

General Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Removal of existing roof systems and installation of our roofing and gutter systems following the recommended manufacturer’s installation instructions and Elite Roof and Solar’s “Elite Roof” instructions.
• Closing out the job with the customer by reviewing the work that was completed, cleaning up the job site, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
• Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs
• Perform Quality Audits on recently installed roofing projects
• Perform Safety Audits as requested
• Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, crews and inter-office personnel, etc.
• Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places
• Complete required daily paperwork, such as on-line data entry, work orders, timesheets, etc.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience on residential roof systems
• Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs & installs, including lifting 50lbs. and climbing up and down ladders
• Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance
• Working knowledge of roofing procedures and safety
• Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent communicator, both oral and written – English (required)
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s License
• Pass Drug Screen and Background Checks
• Must have personal tools for the trade
• Willing to travel, typically home each evening but some overnight stays possible (lodging expenses covered by Elite Roof and Solar)

Pay

• Base Salary – estimated $37,500 – $55,000+ a year
