Job summary

WxTite is seeking a Roofing Estimator to build scope and cost from ITBs, specs and drawings for private and public projects. You will prepare bids, change orders, and manage bid files while coordinating with team members.

The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of roofing estimation experience, proficiency with estimating software and MS Office, and strong math and communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license; on-site role in Greensboro, NC with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years roofing estimation experience preferred.
• Experience with computer estimating software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and math.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Capable of working independently while being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bid documents and track bid status; follow up as needed.

As a Roofing Estimator you will be able to:

• Review of ITB, specifications, drawings, and addenda to create work scope and material and labor costs. Projects include private and public.
• Prepare professional and detailed proposals, bids, and change orders for contractors.
• Maintain files of working documents and tracking of bids, including follow-up on bid status.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing accurate and timely information.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Our ideal Roofing Estimator will have:

• 3-7 years previous roofing estimation preferred.
• Experience with computer estimating software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail & good with math.
• Use of MS Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Working independently while maintaining a team player attitude.
• Strong work ethic, responsible, punctual, self-starter, organized, and multi-tasker.
• Must have a valid drivers license
