Job summary

The Durable Slate Company is seeking an experienced roofer to join our skilled team in Cincinnati, OH. You will learn slate, copper, and other traditional roofing techniques while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on a variety of projects.

We provide paid in-house training, safety-focused work sites, and opportunities for advancement as you grow your slate and copper roofing expertise. Local travel and multi-site project support are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of roofing experience.
• Experience with any type of roofing is welcome.
• General knowledge of roofing installation, repair, and flashing.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and at heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Pride in your work and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install/repair slate, clay tile, copper, and EPDM roofs.
• Learn specialized slate and copper roofing techniques through paid training.
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites.
• Work with an experienced team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
• Travel to projects as needed, with paid travel time and travel support provided.
