Job summary

Ian Williams is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our Capital Works Refurbishments and Projects team, covering Plymouth and the wider Devon area. You’ll carry out pitched and flat roofing repairs in customers’ homes while supporting retrofit, FRA and social housing projects.

We offer a 39-hour week with a basic salary of £35,530 and on‑target earnings up to £39,586, plus a company van, fuel card, PPE and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or an equivalent roofing apprenticeship.
• CSCS card required; Blue Skilled Worker card preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Complete roofing repairs and renewals to pitched and flat roofs, including roof leaks, felt and batten, guttering, leadwork and torch-on felt repairs.
• Carry out associated brickwork repairs and refurbishment where required; experience in this area is advantageous.
• Build positive working relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, tenants and line managers.
• Work safely and comply with all company and industry-wide health and safety requirements.
