Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team servicing social housing contracts around Warminster and the surrounding area. You will work Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week, with a focus on domestic roofing, fascia/soffit and related repairs, and you will be part of a supportive planning team to keep jobs efficient.

Ideal candidates will hold roofing qualifications and be comfortable working in live housing environments.

Qualifications

• Experience of domestic roofing and related repairs including: tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rainwater goods, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training; refresher training can be provided by Novus.
• Knowledge of BS 5534 and BS 8000 standards.

Responsibilities

• Working from job tickets daily and coordinating with the site/contract team.
• Adhering to Novus Health and Safety policies and standards.
• Managing time effectively to complete assignments.
• Collaborating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

Job description

Location: Site based around Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you'll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• Rooferwith experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
• Working from job tickets or a handheld devicedaily
• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
  
• Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
  
• Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
  
• Knowledge of current roofing standards, including BS 5534 and BS 8000
• Knowledge and qualifications in; NVQ Level 3 Roofing Occupations or Competent Roofer Scheme experience preferred
• Manufacturer-approved roofing system training (e.g., Bauder, IKO, Sika, Marley, Redland).
• PASMA, IPAF and Solar PV experience are all advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• This role will require a DBS check
