Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a skilled Roofer Journeyman to join our union-backed team. This full-time, hourly position involves installing roofs across diverse job sites, loading materials, and following company standards to ensure safety and quality.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, roofing experience with at least three systems, a valid Hawaii driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to install at least 3 roofing systems (Single Ply, Torch on, Shingles or equivalent).
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license with a good driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing roofs at a variety of job sites
• Loading and unloading materials
• Installing materials in accordance with company standards and specifications
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Prior roofing experience
• Must be able to install at least 3 or more roofing systems; Single Ply, Torch on, Shingles or any other types of Roofing or Waterproofing
• Valid HI drivers license (with a good driving record)
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Regular attendance required
