Job summary

Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Fireproofing professional to install fireproofing on jobsites in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications, ensuring correct thickness and density. The role is full-time and hourly, with up to 75% travel to various sites in California.

The position requires the ability to work on scaffolding, lift over 75 lbs, and maintain regular attendance. Safety is emphasized, with daily reporting of hours and materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work on scaffolding.
• Ability to lift in excess of 75lbs
• Regular attendance is required.

• Installs Fireproofing in accordance with company standards as well as manufacturer’s printed label regarding thickness and density.
• Checks work for errors and corrects them if necessary.
• Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties as assigned.
