The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and physical stamina to work on heights, with outdoor duties and varied weather conditions throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Roofer or in a related field preferred.
• Able to work on sloped and/or low slope roofs.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must show up on time for scheduled shift.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials for residential and commercial buildings.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions and angles.
• Remove old roofing materials as necessary, including stripping, patching, and replacing damaged sections.
• Apply roofing materials, including insulation, underlayment, and waterproofing materials, according to specifications.
• Safely operate and maintain roofing equipment and tools to include but not limited to tape measure, snap line, hammer, utility knife, welder, and shovels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and be able to work in a crew environment.
• Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
