Qualifications

• OSHA 10; TI can provide training for qualified candidates.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (often 50–80 lbs) and climb ladders repeatedly.
• Follow strict fall-protection guidelines and OSHA regulations for working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Clear old roofing materials, gravel, dirt, and debris off the flat roof surface.
• Unload rolls of membrane, insulation boards, fasteners, and buckets from trucks and haul them up ladders/scaffolds.
• Chop and heat tar in kettles (when applicable) or spread gravel, asphalt, and sealants over top layers.
• Clear roof drains, gutters, and downspouts to prevent water pooling on flat surfaces.
• Set up ladders, safety harnesses, warning lines, and hoists meeting site safety rules.
• Bag waste materials, sweep perimeter, and maintain a hazard-free work area.

This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Clear old roofing materials, gravel, dirt, and debris off the flat roof surface using scrapers, brooms, and shovels
• Unload rolls of membrane, insulation boards, fasteners, and buckets from trucks, then hoist or carry them up ladders, scaffolds, or via ropes and pulleys
• Help chop and heat tar in kettles (when applicable), or spread gravel, asphalt, and sealants over top layers
• Clear roof drains, gutters, and downspouts to prevent water pooling on flat surfaces
• Set up ladders, safety harnesses, warning lines, and hoists, ensuring all gear meets site safety rules
• Bag waste materials, sweep the perimeter, and maintain a hazard-free work area throughout the shift
