Job summary

National Roofing Co. Inc. is seeking a Service Roofer to install, repair, maintain, or remove waterproof membranes on roofs for projects ranging from residential to commercial.

The role requires physical work, adherence to safety standards, and a strong work ethic. The position offers a pay rate range of $21–$24 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement. Applicants should be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Roofer.
• Physically able to perform the job duties; stamina.
• Comply with OSHA and company rules.
• Knowledge of basic reading and writing.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-hire background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, or removal of waterproof membranes on roofs.
• Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, or stairs and move materials.
• Cut, shape, fit or join construction materials.
• Build or repair roofing assemblies per manufacturer specs.
• Install prefabricated building components and siding.
• Inspect for cracks, defects, or damages and repair as needed.
• Keep up to date with industry-standard processes and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Service Roofer will be responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, or removal of a waterproof membrane on a new or existing roof. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials, tools, or supplies.
• Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coating.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, or stairs.
• Cut, shape, fit, or join construction materials together.
• Build or repair roofing assemblies according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Install prefabricated building components.
• Install siding or sheeting.
• Move or fit heavy objects.
• Clean or clear working areas.
• Loading and unloading of materials and/or roof/ground equipment.
• Repair cracks, defects, or damages of installed building material.
• Keeping up to date with industry standard processes or techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a Roofer position
• Physically able to do the required work; stamina.
• Comply with OSHA and Company rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of basic reading & writing skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Able to lift 100 lbs.
• Positive work ethic.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire criminal background check & drug screening.
