Job summary

MacArthur Co. is a national distributor of building materials and employee-owned. The Roof Loader Crewmember role focuses on stocking and preparing orders for distribution in outside work areas. Emphasis on safety and accuracy in loading and unloading for truck deliveries.

The position requires lifting heavy bundles, operating a forklift, and working in all weather, with opportunities for overtime and benefits under the Employee Stock Ownership Program.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 80-pound bundles and handle materials safely.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Walk and place bundles on roof sections as needed.
• Must be comfortable with heights up to four stories.
• Regular, reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately organize building materials using various equipment.
• Review all orders to ensure correct picking.
• Ensure orders are free of damage and report issues.
• Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on trucks and trailers.
• Load and unload materials safely for transportation.
• Follow safety policies and maintain order accuracy.
• Maintain attention to detail in all loading tasks.
