Roofshield Technician Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks required for commercial roofing, including lifting (up to 80 lbs), stooping, bending, material handling, ladder climbing, and working in adverse weather conditions.
• Follow all instructions from the roofing foreman or lead-man related to job production.
• Learn and develop skills in meeting GSM Services' standards for roofing installation and application quality.
• Learn proper use and maintenance of roofing equipment.

Qualifications for the Roofshield Technician Position

• Ability to perform basic math.
• Familiarity with roof materials and their basic application.
• Knowledge of basic roofing tools.
• Ability to climb ladders and be aware of height safety concerns.
• Valid NC or SC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Capability to lift 75 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Neat appearance and good work ethic.
• Ability to read and write English at a high school level.
