Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is expanding its network of independent roof field technicians to perform property inspections and damage assessments on steep and high roofs. You will work autonomously, using lidar tech and portable tools to document conditions and support underwriting decisions.

As an independent contractor, you’ll navigate varied weather, communicate clearly with insureds, and deliver precise inspection reports to help prevent further damage until repairs are completed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely inspect any roof type, including steep/high roofs.
• Must complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professional and detail-oriented.
• Empathetic with insureds and strong customer service.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; contractor network experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs.
• Evaluate exterior and interior damage.
• Perform underwriting property inspections and document findings.
• Help assess property damage and prevent further harm until repairs are complete.
