Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants seeks a Roof Field Inspector to join our independent contractor network, inspecting steep and high roofs, assessing exterior and interior damage, and conducting underwriting property inspections using advanced technology.

Candidates with roofing/construction or insurance claims background are a plus. A reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 32' ladder and access to lidar equipment are required; certification opportunities may be pursued.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle to transport a 32' ladder
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions
• Strong customer service and empathy toward insureds
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs to assess exterior and interior damage
• Perform underwriting property inspections using advanced technology
• Provide professional customer service to insureds
• Operate as part of our independent contractor network
