Job summary

HR Services Brand is seeking a Roll Transporter to move fabric rolls from the knitting floor to inspection or staging areas. You will ensure accurate labeling, proper bagging, and correct placement on shipping buggies.

The role requires lifting up to 65 lbs, operating forklifts or hoists, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following all plant procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Get rolls from knitting floor and transport them to the inspection area.
• Insert zero lift rod into roll to get weight.
• Write correct information on inspected fabric roll and knit production ticket.
• Place fabric in plastic bags along with production ticket, and place on correct shipping buggy.
• Assist other Rollpersons to lift sample rolls onto finished buggies when above waist high and over 65 lbs.
• Make copies of white knitting ticket for waste and mark red waste ticket to be given to Knitter.
• Get supplies for inspection as needed.
• Move completed buggies as needed.
• Help keep inspection area clean and neat.
• Occasionally performs housekeeping duties throughout the plant, on a rotation basis, with the other Rollpersons on the shift.
• Charge forklifts as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
