Job summary

This role requires hands-on mechanical expertise in a rolling mill environment to support equipment maintenance and safe operation. The technician will work to meet maintenance goals while adhering to safety instructions to boost plant productivity.

You will collaborate with a senior technician to execute maintenance work orders, monitor progress, and report on activity status, while ensuring safety policies and PPE usage are upheld across the team.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical knowledge & troubleshooting practice in rolling mill.
• Team-up with senior mechanical technician for implementation of general maintenance work order.
• Comprehends the intended results of plan, for timely completion and quality implementation of maintenance work.
• Report relevant activities, and so with the status of the assigned maintenance activities.
• Looks into the safety aspect within workplace, tools, facilities, and subordinates.
• Able to perform mill maintenance fittings work.
• To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
• Familiar safety instructions related to their jobs.
• To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
• To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to the concerned responsible.
