Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Roller Operator to support earthwork projects in Farmers Branch, TX. The role requires operating a self-propelled roller and performing routine maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, safe operation, and grading to design elevations. You will work flexible hours including nights and weekends and adapt to weather conditions while upholding all safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Austin Bridge & Road is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner
• Able to grade to elevations and tolerances
• Able to become proficient before advancing to another machine
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned
