Job summary

Our client, a leading packaging manufacturer with global reach, seeks an Assistant Sheeting Operator to join their Phoenixville-area facility. This full-time role offers $19.75/hour on the first, second, or third shifts, with training on 1st shift.

You'll operate sheet-fed presses, support Maxon and Marquip sheeting machinery, perform routine maintenance, and keep daily records in SAP/PEAK. Strong mechanical aptitude and reliability are essential for daily uptime and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet-fed printing environments.
• Preference for operating Maxon and Marquip sheeting machinery.
• Ability to perform press maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with daily quality checklists and records in SAP/PEAK.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet-fed printing presses in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Maxon and Marquip sheeting machinery preferred.
• Perform proper press maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complete daily quality checklists.
• Record daily time and material usage in SAP and PEAK (training provided).
• Disassemble machines to replace worn parts using hand tools; must be mechanically inclined.

Job description

Our client has over 130 facilities worldwide that provide innovative packaging solutions, they are the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based packaging for some of the world’s most recognized brands of food, beverage, foodservice, household, personal care and pet care products.

Position: Assistant Sheeting Operator M-F, $19.75/hour

1st shift: 7am-3pm (must be able to train on 1st shift)

2nd shift: 3pm-11pm

3rd shift: 11pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Experienced in manufacturing printing environment of sheet fed printing presses
• Experienced operating Maxon and Marquip sheeting machinery preferred
• Proper press preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Performs required to provide daily quality checklist '
• Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in SAP and PEAK (will train)
• Disassembles machines to perform minor, repair, or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools Must be mechanically inclined
