Job summary

Constellium Muscle Shoals is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Roll Shop Technician to support roll shop goals, ensuring quality, ready-to-use roll sets with emphasis on accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities include tool provisioning, daily assignments, and safe, efficient operations. The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in a fast-paced industrial setting, with experience in maintenance, bearing work, and crane operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a high paced industrial setting.
• Mechanical ability to maintain/repair components using hand/power tools.
• Inspect bearing cylinders, seals and fittings.
• Operate overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Preventive maintenance familiarity: condition/predictive/proactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supply and maintain required personnel tools.
• Follow specific daily work assignments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area/environment.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedule for critical equipment.
• Fluent in use of basic measurement equipment.
• Maintain records in roll shop management software.
• Safe operation of overhead crane and mobile equipment.
• Attend workshops to maintain technical knowledge.
• Communicate effectively between leadership and departments.
• Replace defective components with like-in-kind parts.
• Work flexible schedule including holidays and evenings as scheduled.
• Follow standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of each job step.
