Job summary

Constellium Muscle Shoals is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Roll Shop Technician to support roll shop goals, ensuring quality, ready-to-use roll sets with emphasis on accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities include tool provisioning, daily assignments, and safe, efficient operations. The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in a fast-paced industrial setting, with experience in maintenance, bearing work, and crane operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a high paced industrial setting.
• Mechanical ability to maintain/repair components using hand/power tools.
• Inspect bearing cylinders, seals and fittings.
• Operate overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Preventive maintenance familiarity: condition/predictive/proactive maintenance.

The Industrial Maintenance Roll Shop Technician supports Roll Shop goals to provide plant operations with quality built ready to use roll sets focusing on accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities:

• Supply and maintain required personnel tools

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required with 2 years minimum experience in a high paced industrial setting
• Demonstrated mechanical ability to maintain, repair or replace components, devises and parts using hand or power tools
• Demonstrated ability to inspect and install bearing cylinders, seals and fittings
• Demonstrated ability to operate overhead cranes and mobile equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Preventive Maintenance familiarity - condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, proactive maintenance

Constellium Muscle Shoals is a major aluminium sheet supplier for the packaging and automotive markets. The plant has ~1,200 employees and more than 100 acres under room, including five casting units, hot and cold rolling mills, and a slitting and finishing center. Muscle Shoals produces aluminium sheet for use in all three components of beverage cans (body stock, coated end stock, tab stock) and has the capacity to produce over 1 billion pounds per year of finished aluminium coils. The plant also produces aluminium automotive coils to be processed at our CALP line in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Muscle Shoals’ world-class recycling center is able to recycle the equivalent of 20 billion aluminum cans per year.
