Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of machining including previous machine shop work.
• Ability to learn operation of surface roll grinders (Mesta / Hercules).
• Troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance/repair of chocks, bearings, and rolls.
• Work in a safe manner in compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide roll and chock assemblies for the Hot and Cold mills.
• Service chocks, grind rolls, and support Engineering for improvements.
• Use and care of measuring equipment and tools.
• Operate Mesta backup roll grinder and Herkules work roll grinder.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
