Job summary

Republic Services in Savannah, GA seeks a Driver-CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement, strong safety awareness, and reliable, on-time service to customers along assigned routes. You will participate in the ReSOP program and interact with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to maintain

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a collection truck and service customers as per route sheet, following map/directions.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely load refuse and operate the packer/compressor in line with safety policies.
• Complete daily route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers to ensure timely service.
• Participate in the Company’s ReSOP program and adhere to safety standards.
