Job summary

You will inspect equipment, secure loads, follow routes, complete logs, and communicate professionally with dispatch, site personnel, and customers while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Role Description

The Roll Off Driver is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Richmond Region. In this role, the driver is responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport containers and materials to and from customer sites, company facilities, and designated disposal or recycling locations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles and equipment, securing loads, following established routes and schedules, and completing required logs and documentation. The driver interacts with customers and site personnel, ensuring professional communication and adherence to safety protocols at all times. The role may also involve basic vehicle maintenance checks, reporting mechanical issues, and coordinating with dispatch and operations staff to support efficient service.

Qualifications

• Strong truck driving skills with experience operating roll off or similar commercial trucks.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch, co-workers, and customers.
