Job summary

Silverwood Landscape Construction in Southern California seeks a Class A Driver to join the team in Costa Mesa. You will operate a 10-wheeler roll-off truck, load/unload materials, and assist on-site crews with various tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and the ability to navigate local routes efficiently. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred; prior roll-off experience is a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A driver's license.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Full-time availability Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Compliance with DOT safety standards.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• 2+ years of experience operating a roll-off truck preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload roll-off boxes.
• Assist the project crews with deliveries and pickups.
• Perform DOT daily operations and safety inspections before and after each trip.
• Perform routine daily maintenance, including refueling, lubrication, cooling system checks, and housekeeping.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and Hours of Service regulations.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and trip records.
• Communicate load status with the team.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
