Responsibilities include dispatch coordination, load ticketing, keeping logs and records, performing daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining the truck. Opportunities to cover additional trucks exist if trained and approved.

Qualifications

• Valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL Class B or equivalent).
• Attention to detail to prevent damage to truck/equipment.
• DOT physical and medical requirements must be met; safety-sensitive and random drug testing apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Roll Off trash truck on assigned routes, serving customers courteously and on time.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations, transportation laws, and company policy.
• Check in with dispatch to confirm stops and obtain approval before returning to the shop.
• Obtain load weight tickets and sign for loads.
• Maintain driver logs, route sheets, work orders, and other required records.
• Clean cab and body daily; conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• May be required to operate additional trucks if trained and approved.
• Create maintenance work orders for shop scheduling and adhere to company policies.
