Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role requires pre- and post-operation inspections and adherence to safety standards.

You will document vehicle conditions and ensure regulatory compliance daily. Strong time management and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to follow route directions and cooperate with dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections according to policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor; dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them per procedures.
• Maintain dashboards and reports (route/productivity sheets, VCRs) as required.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
