Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Roller Former Operator for the New Albany, IN facility on the 2nd shift. Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on daily work orders and seasonality.

The operator must load/unload parts on roll former machines, set up tooling, perform die changes, and make minor adjustments to ensure products meet tolerances from work orders and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience includes roll-forming, machine set-ups, and part inspections.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the workday and 80lbs as needed.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts on roll former machines.
• Make minor adjustments and perform coil and line changeovers.
• Assist in tooling set ups and die changes.
• Produce material to keep within tolerances per work orders, diagrams and blueprints.
