Nucor Corporation in Illinois is seeking a production operator for roll forming and trim work in a safety‑driven environment. You will read schedules, set up equipment, inspect parts, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the shift.

The role requires basic math, use of measuring tools, and the ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret production schedules, drawings, and part details.
• Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts for conformance to specs.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate roll forming and trim equipment to produce components.
• Review orders and drawings to determine material and specs.
• Set up equipment, tooling, and stops for required profiles.
• Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments as needed.
• Inspect parts for length, color, gauge, finish, and quality.
• Batch similar parts to improve material usage and efficiency.
• Enter production data and material usage into systems.
• Follow safety policies and participate in continuous improvement.
