You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York. **Work Shift:**First Shift (United States of America)**Job Description:**The Roll Form Operator is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and quality of production for our roll forming line. Using a variety of machines and shop tools such as wrenches, feeler gages, and computerized controls for the roll former. Also uses band saws, drills, grinders, gauges, and material handling devices while performing additional work as steel saw operator. **Responsibilities:*** Maintains setup charts for all sets of roll form tooling.* Performs tooling setup and line changeover on roll form machine to produce roll form cross sections to print specifications.* Performs setup/equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain dimensional tolerances of cross sections being produced.* Performs maintenance on all roll form line equipment, keeping a log of all maintenance performed.* Reads basic blueprints and sketches to fabricate metal components.* Operates equipment under strict safety requirements.* Loads flatbeds, containers (open top and closed)* Unloads flatbeds* All other duties as assigned by management **Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent required* 1+ years in machine operating required* 2+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of roll form, or CNC operations preferred* Ability to read tape measure* Ability to read a blueprint* Ability to use hand tools requiring dexterity* Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision ## **Work Environment:**## ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements* Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel or crouch (5%), as required.* Able to climb portable ladder* Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift.* Able to wear hearing protectors (ear plugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels.
