Job summary

Gorbel, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the third shift to cut and drill steel and aluminum components per drawings. The role uses overhead cranes and forklifts to stage materials and ensure production flow.

You will read blueprints, measure layouts with tape, and operate drill presses and automated drilling equipment while maintaining quality records and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must pass truck and crane certification with training.
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Follow job orders to specifications.
• Cut steel and aluminum components per drawings and specs.
• Measure and layout according to blueprint using drills and machines.
• Set up, operate and maintain machines to meet production needs.
• Inspect and document work to ensure specifications.
• Assist in loading/unloading raw materials; operate forklift and crane.
