Job summary

Brook + Whittle is seeking a Roll Press Operator to set up, operate and monitor roll-fed printing equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. The role includes loading substrates, adjusting ink and press parameters, and maintaining production records.

This is a 3rd shift position with potential overtime and collaboration with Prepress, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping teams to meet production goals and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to make adjustments to production equipment.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools and production equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate roll-fed printing presses per job specifications and production requirements.
• Load materials, install printing plates, and adjust press components as required.
• Set press speeds, registration, pressure, and other operating parameters.
• Monitor press quality, color, and registration during production.
• Complete quality checks and document production data (waste, downtime, etc.).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press area.
