Job summary

Packaging Corporation in Marshalltown, IA seeks a Forklift Operator for 2nd shift (2 pm–10 pm) and 3rd shift (10 pm–6 am) to safely move materials, load/unload trucks, and wrap inventory in a busy manufacturing setting.

Must be willing to work overtime/weekends as required and obtain and maintain a PCA-certified forklift license. The role involves collaboration with shipping, receiving, and production teams to maintain warehouse organization and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain PCA certified forklift license.
• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping/receiving material handlers to balance workload and organize warehouses.
• Report any missing, broken, bent or worn forklift parts to supervisor/maintenance.
• Identify defects in incoming material and act accordingly.
• Follow all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
