Role: Global Trade Management (GTM) Specialist/Consultant

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

Job Summary:

The Global Trade Management (GTM) Specialist/Consultant will leverage the Amber Road/E2open GTM platform to ensure compliant, efficient, and cost-effective international trade operations. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring the GTM system, integrating it with other enterprise systems, and providing support and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global trade regulations and practical experience with GTM software.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Implementation & Configuration: Participate in the design, configuration, and implementation of Amber Road/E2open GTM modules (e.g., Trade Compliance, Customs Management, Export Controls, Restricted Party Screening, Free Trade Agreements, Logistics). Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with IT, supply chain, logistics, legal, finance, and other units for seamless integration.
• Trade Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, including export controls (EAR, ITAR), import regulations, customs laws, sanctions (OFAC), and trade agreements. Perform commodity classification (HTS, ECCN), manage export licenses, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Process Optimization & Support: Identify process improvements, develop training, provide system support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with audits.
• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain trade-related data and generate compliance and operational reports.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Work with project teams, participate in testing, and document processes and configurations.
