Rocky Gap Casino Resort is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform minor maintenance and repair of equipment and spaces across the property. The role involves inspecting lights, responding to requests, and maintaining pool and engineering areas to high standards.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic plumbing/electrical knowledge, and at least 2 years of related experience. A valid driver's license is required and the site offers a safety-focused work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Resort Facilities Manager and then the Director of Facilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air conditioning maintenance. Must have at least 2 years’ experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training preferred.
EPA I & I or Universal License and HVAC Certification preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 50 lbs. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including distinguishing between shades of color), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
The employee is regularly required to climb a twelve (12) foot ladder.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy environment and seasonal elements.
The employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and danger of exposure to various chemicals used in the maintenance of the property.
