• Maintain Release of Information (ROI) documents in the electronic health record
• Provide support to the release of information vendor and process disability and FMLA forms
• Handle all requests for restrictions, amendments, and accounting of disclosures
• Ensure compliance with federal programs and notify management of any exclusion threats

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum educational requirement: Completion of medical terminology course within one year of hire
• Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the HIM department or release of information
• Experience with electronic health record systems
• Must not have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid
