Flint Group is hiring a Shipping & Receiving (S&R) Specialist for our Rogers, MN facility. The role includes receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping goods, maintaining inventory records in SAP, and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, the ability to stand most of the day, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift experience and SAP familiarity are preferred; Hazmat certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 90% of the day.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic mathematical skills and problem solving.
• Hazmat Shipping certification is a plus; basic computer/SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Sort and store received items in designated areas.
• Prepare outgoing shipments including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Determine shipping methods and utilize shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Use FedEx/UPS systems or LTL websites to set up shipments and track information.
• Complete and file shipping documents and records.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Update inventory records in SAP.
• Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse processes.
• Assist in inventory audits and maintain a clean warehouse.

About the Role:

As an S&R Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety guidelines.
