Job summary

SkyWater Technology, Inc. seeks a hands-on RODI Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of reverse osmosis and deionized water systems to support Fab operations 24/7 at our Austin, TX facility.

You will manage daily work orders, supervise shifts, drive preventive and corrective maintenance through CMMS, ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures, and partner with engineers on upgrades and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 5+ years in industrial facilities or water treatment with leadership experience.
• Ability to direct shift activities in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and safety knowledge.
• Experience with CMMS and water-treatment equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop RODI technicians across shifts to ensure 24/7 support.
• Manage daily work orders and technician assignments in CMMS.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of pretreatment, RO, and DI equipment.
• Monitor water-quality indicators and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and restore unplanned downtime; report risks.
• Document investigations and drive root cause corrective actions.
• Provide training and feedback; maintain shift-to-shift consistency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers on upgrades and process improvements.
