Job summary

Clarendon College is seeking an Assistant Rodeo Coach to support the Head Rodeo Coach in all aspects of the rodeo program operations. This role involves recruiting student-athletes, supervising practices, providing technical instruction, and maintaining facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rodeo coaching, effective communication skills, and a commitment to student development. The position is available immediately and requires flexibility with travel and hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in rodeo coaching, livestock care, or collegiate athletics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes.
• Support daily livestock care, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health.
• Provide technical instruction and guidance to student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Help maintain discipline, professionalism, and program expectations among team members.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
