Job summary

Angelo State University is seeking a Rodeo Complex Student Worker to support daily operations, maintenance, and event functions of the rodeo complex. Responsibilities include assisting with facility upkeep, arena preparation, grounds maintenance, equipment handling, event setup and teardown, and providing support during practices, competitions, and special events.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the rodeo

Qualifications

• Current Angelo State University student in good academic standing.
• Experience in rodeo, livestock, agricultural, ranching, equine, or event operations environments.
• Knowledge of rodeo events, livestock handling practices, and arena management.
• Experience with facility maintenance, landscaping, or custodial responsibilities.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to livestock facilities, equipment operation, and event management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facility upkeep and arena preparation.
• Perform grounds maintenance and equipment handling.
• Support during practices, competitions, and special events.
• Ensure rodeo complex remains safe, clean, and welcoming.
