Job summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services, a long-standing family-owned company serving Central and South Texas, seeks aResidential Rodent Pest Tech to deliver exceptional service to homes and businesses in the greater Austin area.

You’ll be a commission-based team member with earnings reflecting daily productivity and opportunities to grow income through our Lead Now program. We value safety, training, and customer satisfaction as core to our mission.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
• Previous Pest or Rodent Control experience preferred but not required – we provide paid training.
• Ability to work on roofs, tall heights, ladders & crawlspaces.
• Dependable and disciplined with a desire to work year-round.
• An individual that is serious, sincere and cooperative.
• Able to manage specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.
• Ability to adhere to guidelines & procedures set by both ABC & Texas Department of Agriculture.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Desired experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.
• Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Must maintain an active Driver’s License and be insurable.
• Must be able to work minimum one Saturday Per month

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer’s concerns regarding pest control services and suggest proper treatments or solutions.
• Identify various pests and sources and propose elimination and prevention strategies.
• Work inside/outside for long periods, including extreme temperatures.
• Work on roofs, tall heights and ladders as needed.
• Apply chemicals and/or mix solutions for extermination in and around homes or buildings.
• Maintain positive attitude with customers, colleagues and supervisors.
• Prioritize workload, handle irate customers, and stay composed.
• Maintain licensing requirements and participate in ongoing education provided by ABC.
• Operate company phone and software to perform job tasks effectively.
