Schedule: Monday - Friday, with one Saturday per month, and one fifth Saturday per year.*

How You'll Make an Impact:

As ABC's Residential Rodent Pest Tech, you will provide exceptional customer service at all times. Professional behavior and respect for customers' property are expected. Listen to customer concerns regarding services and suggest appropriate treatments or solutions. As a commission-based employee, your earnings can increase daily based on productivity, and you can earn additional income by referring leads through ABC's Lead Now program. You control your earning potential.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Valid driver's license issued at least five years prior to application.
• Previous pest control experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work on roofs, in high places, on ladders, and in crawlspaces.
• Dependable, disciplined, and eager to work year-round.
• Sincere, serious, and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to manage specialized tasks confidently and efficiently.
• Adherence to guidelines set by ABC and the Texas Department of Agriculture.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines is desirable.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Must maintain an active driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be able to work at least one Saturday per month.

What You'll Do:

• Address customer concerns and recommend appropriate pest control treatments.
• Identify pests, determine sources, and suggest elimination and prevention strategies.
• Work indoors and outdoors for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Work on roofs, at heights, and on ladders.
• Apply chemicals and other extermination techniques inside and around homes and buildings.
• Maintain strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and handle irate customers professionally.
• Maintain licensing requirements and participate in ongoing education.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Use electronics and software efficiently for job tasks.
