Schedule: M - F, mandatory 1 Saturday per month, rotated schedule with team.
4 months out of the year, you will be asked to work 2 Saturdays

How You'll Make an Impact:

As ABC's Residential Rodent Pest Tech, you will provide exceptional customer service at all times. Professional behavior is expected when servicing homes or businesses, and respect for customers' property is required. Listen to customers' concerns regarding services and suggest proper treatments or solutions. As a commission employee, your earnings can increase daily based on productivity, and you can earn additional income by submitting leads through ABC's Lead Now program. Your earning potential is in your hands.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Valid driver's license issued at least five years prior to application date.
• Previous pest or rodent control experience is preferred but not required; paid training is provided.
• Ability to work on roofs, at heights, ladders, and in crawlspaces.
• Dependable, disciplined, and eager to work year-round.
• Serious, sincere, and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to manage specialized work efficiently with confidence.
• Adherence to guidelines set by ABC and the Texas Department of Agriculture.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines is preferred.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Must maintain an active driver's license and be insurable.
• Ability to work at least one Saturday per month.

What You'll Do:

• Address customer concerns and suggest proper treatments for pest control.
• Identify pests, sources, and develop elimination and prevention strategies.
• Work indoors/outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Work on roofs, heights, and ladders.
• Apply chemicals and use extermination techniques inside and around buildings.
• Maintain strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and handle irate customers professionally.
• Maintain licensing requirements and attend continuing education courses.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Use electronics and software efficiently for job tasks.
